School Principal - Robert Brinkley
Robert Brinkley answered the call to become Bethel's school principal in the summer of 2002. He and his wife Debra moved from Charlotte, North Carolina, where Mr. Brinkley served as the school administrator of Bible Baptist Christian School for 17 years and Mrs. Brinkley taught kindergarten.
Prior to being in Charlotte, Mr. Brinkley served for 12 years in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the Heritage Christian School. While in Arkansas, he served as the vice-president of the Arkansas Association of Christian Schools and as the division chairman for academic testing.
While in North Carolina, he was involved with the North Carolina Christian Schools Association. He served as the state convention coordinator for 8 years and served on the NCCSA Board of Directors for 17 years. He also served as the division chairman for state academic testing for several years.
He served on the Board of Directors for the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools in 2004-07.
Mr. Brinkley received his academic and theological training at Baptist Bible College and Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Upon receiving two undergraduate degrees and a graduate degree from these schools, he completed additional classes at the University of Missouri, Southwest Missouri State University, and Central Bible College.
Robert married his wife Debra in 1967. Their families live in Charlotte, NC. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
